Finding the Ground:
The Story of My Second Spring
For a long time, I lived behind invisible armor. I built it young, out of necessity, to protect a heart that didn't always feel safe. It was a survival tool that helped me navigate through loss, addiction, and the quiet struggle of trying to be "normal."
But if I’ve learned anything, it’s this: normal is a setting on a washing machine.
It’s not a goal for a soul.
At 55, I found myself in a version of life I hadn't planned for. My children were grown, the roles of "wife" and "mother" as I knew them had shifted, and I was left standing in a grocery store aisle, realizing I didn't even know what I liked to eat. I had spent so long being a chameleon—reading the room and becoming whoever others needed me to be—that I had forgotten to be myself.
This is my Second Spring.
It’s not about erasing the past; it’s about reclaiming what survived it. It’s about learning that healing has no expiration date and that there is no "too late" for becoming who you were always meant to be.
I started this space, Still Becoming, for those of us who are tired of the armor. Whether you are rebuilding after a loss, navigating recovery, or simply trying to remember your own name, I want you to know you aren’t alone.
My mission is to provide you with the tools—like journals, affirmation cards for manifestation, meditation cushions, beautiful candles, and artwork—to design your sacred space. Together, we are learning to manifest a future that feels peaceful, grounded, and entirely our own.
Here, we celebrate the messy, beautiful process of growth. We set intentions, we manifest our miracles, and we finally tell the truth—to the world, and more importantly, to ourselves.
We aren't "finished" just because we’ve reached a certain age. We are evolving. We are growing. We are Still Becoming.
I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s begin.
With grace and grounding, As always…
Sending Love & Light,
Teresa
